Özgür GÖZLÜKLÜ

Specialist Dentist Özgür Gözlüklü completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul. He began his studies at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Dentistry in 2007 and graduated with honors in 2012. Following his graduation, he began working as an assistant at the Faculty’s Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the same year.

In 2013, he was accepted into the specialty training program as a research assistant at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at İzmir Katip Çelebi University. During his specialty training, he completed clinical rotations in emergency medicine, anesthesiology and reanimation, otorhinolaryngology (ENT), and plastic and reconstructive surgery, participating in numerous surgical procedures throughout this period.

In 2017, he successfully completed his thesis titled “Comparison of the Effects of Two Different Kinesio Taping Techniques on Pain, Swelling, and Trismus Following Bilateral Impacted Mandibular Third Molar Surgery” and qualified as a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Specialist Dentist Özgür Gözlüklü has presented numerous oral and written scientific papers at national and international congresses, meetings, and symposiums. He has also published scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals.

His primary professional interests include reconstruction of insufficient jawbone and dental implant treatments. In addition to jaw aesthetics and advanced implant surgery, he routinely performs conventional oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including impacted tooth extractions, treatment of oral cysts, and periodontal surgery. His areas of practice also include the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching).
